Letter off today requesting refund of £327 in charges.

Reply dated 17/4 saying sorry to learn you are not happy and we are looking into the situation and will reply with a more detailed response.Contact is Peter Connolly -customer services-Bootle.

Offered refund by Alliance of approx 60% of what i claimed 7 days after recieving letter saying they were looking into the situation.This is of course is only a gesture of GOODWILL ,my missus thinks so and has accepted this so she can go away next weekend.
Contacted customer services at Bootle
Mrs Julie Shingleton and Peter Connolly are the contact names on the letters.
Still got outstanding claims on others but its a start.
Maybe shud have held out for the lot but got to keep the wife happy.

Hey it's your claim, and as long as you are happy with the outcome that's all that matters. I hope your wife enjoys spending her money!
