Hi and welcome.
Have a good read around the site. The FAQ's are really good so that would be a good start and everyone is really helpfull on here. Its good to read the other threads then you get an idea of what happens. Each one i've read seems to happen in the same order.

tips
Read the FAQs and a good number of threads here and FOLLOW THE PROCESS
Send everything to the bank recorded delivery (signed for)
Stick to YOUR schedule
and remember it's YOUR MONEY you are going to get back

If you are unsure, ask a question here, you will get a lot of ecxellent help.

Unhappy no response from statement request

sent my cheque and letter requesting statements about 3 weeks ago had no response. what should i do? should i phone customer service up?

Yes i would call them. Give them a reminder and tell them they have 40 days from when you sent the letter else you will report them to the information commissioner. Remember you paid £10 for this, make sure you get what you asked for and chase them till its on your doorstep.
Have they cashed your cheque?? Good Luck.

got all my statements back. Do i put the £5.00 down which is for having an over draft. Also when you send letter off asking for money back what do you send with this letter

No £5 is an acceptable agreement with you and the bank for having an overdraft, you can i believe claim for the interest on the overdraft though.

sent my letter asking for money owed received a reply saying that their charges are fair andthe charges have been raised correctly in line with the terms and conditions of my accounnt and so they must stand.
what do i do next?

I have merged your threads as it easier for us all to follow your progress as Michael says. It would probably be a good idea to read the FAQ's and step by step instructions, as well as other threads so that you understand the process better. This will be particularly important when you come to do your court claim.
