Default Alliance & Leicester - What should I do?

Wish I had seen this site earlier.
Sent a letter off today asking for a couple of charges to be refunded back to me, les than £100, but have since found this site and realised I could have asked for the last 6 years charges to be refunded.
Dont want to be greedy but if it is worth doing, it worth doing properly!!
Shall I
a) wait and see what I recieve in next 7 days
b) pop another letter in post asking for the last 6 years charges to be refunded.

Can you let us know which bank you are dealing with so that we can change the thread title or move it.
Thanks

You can only claim the charges, not the overdraft. Alliance and Leicester will close your account, but some banks will let you have a basic bank account without a cheque book or overdraft. I opened mine with Nat West but there are others too. Keep reading up the FAQ's and it will become clearer what you can claim.
