Default A & L Overdraft

Afternoon

I was waiting for the outcome of the OFT case as per their letter. Basically I had an overdraft of £350 which was the amount I was claiming back in charges. I stopped using the account and each month they've added on £10 (overdraft fee and interest) I am now nearly up to the limit £500.... my question is can I take A&L to court or will it be stayed until the outcome as Im concerned that in the end I will owe them money.

I will be claiming the extra they have put on since the announcement but am concerned that once it hits £500 they will add on £12 which it appears is acceptable

Thanks in advance

Hi, Keeksta1976.

I would take it as far as you can, yes your claim will be stayed but you want to be in the queue when they come round to paying out.

Oh, and the £12 is not acceptable

Regards.

Scott.
