Please let me know if anyone has had any joy with claiming charges back from A & L as i tried in summer only to be told that they are not responding to my claim for £1,750.00 as they are waiting for the court ruling in feb 08 on charges, i got as far as threatning to take them to court letter b ut then cant afford the court fee, so looks like im stuffed and as result i have now got debt collectors , global debt management breathing down my neck , any help or advice will be deeply appreciated , many thanks

You should try to get the court fee from somewhere(I know that's easy for me to say).But the sooner you get in the system, the better.

I am in the exact same postion as you. I have pursued my claim and got to the "taking them to court" bit, but now I don't have the money to go to court. Everything they send out is totally generic and they never look at anything case by case! Its nice to know I'm not the only one battling
