Hiya stormyga,

Welcome to CAG,

Yes you can claim them.

Have a read of this link, it helps explain what you can claim for....

Charges description on statements - Please Read

You dont need to add the interest at this stage, but the spread sheets will do it for you.

Everything you will need is in this link. All the letter templates, spreadsheets etc.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...lates-library/

Dont forget, you send the prelim first then 14 days later the lba.

Please have a good read around the site, so you can see what to expect.

But if you have any worries, just shout!!

There is always some one around to help you.

Hello,

I need some help again - on the overdraft interest!

I now get the principal of the interest calculations, my issue is that I use to get paid either on the date of or just before the date my statements were issued. This means that the balance on my account was usually in the black so when I enter the balance on the spreadsheet the interest is not calculated.

Can I just enter the amount I was overdrawn before I was paid or will the bank reject my claim as the information is not exect?

If anyone could help??

Thanks

Hi - Can anybody answer my question?

I have been reading for two days but haven't found any situation that is simalar!

I would like to send my prilim off - I don't want A&L to think that I don't know what I'm doing (although I'm not sure!! HAHAHAHA) because the information is not technically correct or should I just remove the overdraft interest as it only amounts to £10.29?

Any input would be great

Thanks

Most people dont actually bother with the overdraft interest, as it can be difficult to work out.

So if you are not sure, and its only around £10, it might not be worth it.
