I'm new here

So far I have sent my data request and received my statements.
I then sent request for charges to be reimbursed, I have just received a letter from A&L acknowledging the complaint, blah blah, although they are not one of the banks in the test case, and will not be doing anything until the test case has been decided. If I choose to issue a claim they will ask for it to be stayed.

What do I do now?

If the 14 days are up you send your LBA.

I now have a problem, I have had a hard disk crash and have lost my original documents. So cannot confirm dates and amounts that should be submitted in the LBA. Also does the LBA have to be sent back within 14 days, as the letter I received from A&L was dated the 10 Oct, I have only just got my laptop back minus all the data.

What should I do

If you have your statements, cant you make another copy of your spread sheets?

You dont have to send the Lba in 14 days, this is just a reasonable time to give them to respond, you can send it when ever you are ready.

Also it is advisable to make copies of everything you send for your own records.
