Question Spreadsheet

Hi, have recently started a claim for my bank charges against A&L. To my surprise, when I requested my statements to be sent to me, they arrived well within the 40 day time limit. I have now gone through them and wrote down details of all the charges but am still a bit unsure of how to fill in the spreadsheet. Do I delete the column with the accrued interest which is worked out for you or leave it in when I send off my initial request for claim? Although I know I cannot reclaim the monthly overdraft charges, can I reclaim the monthly interest I have been charged over and above the agreed charge?

Hi

welcome to A&L

You hide the 8% column until you start court action.

I did not claim any other interest so cant help you on the other bit

did you find step by step instructions under the FAQ section - i think it is covered there.

Thanks Jansus but am still confused as their appears to be two interst columns, one on the far right of the spreadsheet which automatically works out a daily interest charge and one at the bottom mentioning a judicial charge!

I did not think you could reclaim your monthly overdraft charges as these were agreed upon when I opened the account and was given an overdraft! Why is my thread not on the general Alliance and Leicester bit?
