A&L (Wragge) have never attended a full hearing as far as I'm aware. They have, on many occasions shown up at preliminary/direction/allocation hearings (all basically the same) as far as I can gather. Normally Wragge will "up" any previous offers as the court date gets nearer. My court date is next Wednesday and they've just offered me about 80% of my claim, which I'm refusing. The judge's "directions" basically asked them to declare how they arrive at their charges and they've never submitted anything in response (they cannot

), at which time you should win by default. I know it's very near my court date, but the court have been VERY slow 'cos they're inundated. Hopefully won't have to go, but should be awarded "judgement by default" whatever.
Everyone's now being encouraged to include their T&C's in their bundles. A guy recently lost his case in the Birmingham court (although he was well prepared) due to the fact these were missing from his pack and he had no knowledge of them as far as I'm aware.
The judge made up his own mind about their interpretation and consequently the case was lost. Best to include the T&C's for your claim start year and end year. You'll find these in the T&C thread somewhere under A&L.
Good luck
