Default Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!

Hi,
I am so new to this, I am claiming £1100 from A&L and have received a General form of Judgement or Order, ordering me to "file and serve a breakdown schedule of sums claimed." I am unsure of what they want and I obviously want to get it right as i have come so far, I would appreciate any advice or help you can offer, especially what they are looking for and how to set it out!!

Thank again, you are all full of such good advice!!

Welcome -can you go to FAQ in red and then step by step instructions(all at top of forum) - and then come back with a brief summary of which of the steps you have actually done and who your letter is from ?

its sounds like you need to complete the spreadsheet itemising your claim - but we need to know a bit more.

then we will try and help you

thanks

I agree, it sounds like they want the spreadsheet. Remember, you file to court and serve upon the defence, i.e. you need to send: one copy to the court and one copy to the defence.

You could use a photocopy of the order as a coversheet. If you take it to the court, the clerks there are really helpful. You don't, I think, need the statements at the moment. Save them for your court bundle.

Thanks very much, I rang the court yesterday and they were really helpful, in the end i just sent a covering letter, with the schedule, but i did send my statements with the charges highlighted, do you think this matters?
I also was made an offer by Wragge and co for £485.00, my claim is for £1060, I rang them to see if we could come to a settlement, but he was so rude he just kept cutting me off dead with anything i said, in the end i told him i was'nt going to accept the offer, and he hung up on me, Charming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ro lleyes:

So i suppose i'll be heading for court!!!!

Thanks again

That'll be fine; it's better to send too much information than not enough!
