Hi
I have a bit of an unusual one I think, but enough of my personal problems

I requested my last 6 yrs of statements as per the forms on moneysavingexpert.com, and got no reply, I then sent a letter asking they repay the 5000 which I estimate is near the figure owed and saying the next step was court.
I have begun suing on moneyclaim website, and today they have offered a 724 quid as full payment.
My question is I stated on the moneyclaim paperwork that my claim was an estimate of 5000 including costs and interest, but without the statements I am unable to prove this amount, what should I do?
Should I accept the 724 or go to court with my estimate? or insist that A&L now give me disclosure of the statements?
I have read through a few forums but most people seem to have been supplied with statements on request I wasnt, but thought push on with legal action as it is an easy stalling tactic by the banks.
Any advice welcomed
Cheers
Gerry
Furthermore I have filed a complaint with the information commisioner who has emailed saying they will contact A&L about failing to supply statements, and I have proof of postage etc etc on all paperwork, so they cant say they didnt get anything.
