Default England66 vs Abbey **WON**

Hi Peeps!

Although we did not post much here, not even a post to say we taking on Abbey. We did send the "gimme me money letters", back in April.

We followed all the Instructions, read as many posts and FAQs, as we could find. Went along as each step suggested, and guess what......

After the acknowledgment from Abbey to the court order(MCOL), we decided to drop abbey an email dropping slightly on our total and interest just to test the water.

Accepted!

We got £3500odd back!!!! Was a shock!

We will keep the court stuff going till the money hits the account.

Wish to thank all here, when the money hits the account, we will be donating to this great site.

Cant wait to tell the hubby! ( could not tell him at work, he would have drunk Canary Wharf dry!)

Stick in there guys!

Nice result, bet when you first embarked on this you didn't think this would be the outcome.

Hope you've got something nice planned to spend the money on.

Well done

Hi all,

Thanks for your kind replies.

Money was in credited to bank account today,a cheque.

Don't really know what advice to give others than;

Stick with it.
Stick to your timetables, not theirs.
Be polite an straight to the point in your emails, letters etc. Remember they are seeing hundreds a day.
Give them a set time on negotiations and leave it with them, stay away from the computer.
Accept an offer you a happy with, if you want the lot be prepared for a wait.
NOTHING is quick in law!

Suppose a mod could put ***WON*** on ours! :P

BTW, we settled at 95% + costs.

So good luck, good things come to those who wait.
