Could have held out for the full amount but they settled at £100 less than I was claiming, it's been a tough old slog, I started my claim in September, I have paid £220 in total court feees, had just submitted my N149 two weeks ago and then got a call from their solicitors wanting to settle at £2100 (my claim was £2816.45), they said it was negotiable, tried to scare me into thinking I wouldn't get the full sum if I went to court, then offered me £2700 when I stood firm.


Keep going, never give in. Good luck.

In aquaintance told me that they were paid out twice, once because they threatened to go to court and then becuase they called the Ombudsman and they got the bank to pay out again.

Is this nonsense?
