Default Geneticfreak vs. Abbey...

Hello all!

I sent Abbey my first letter, asking them to refund the charges that they have taken from me, last Wednesday. I recieved a letter back basically saying someone is looking into to my "complaint" and that they will take 4 weeks to get back to me, which I assume is just the standard letter they send to everyone.

Just wondering, do I give them the 4 weeks? or do I keep to my 14 day time window that was outlined in the first letter?

Thanks for any help!

Hi

Stick to YOUR timescale - after four weeks they will write to ask you for another 8 weeks! (Been there!)

Don't let them mess you about - only you are allowed to move the goalposts!

Good Luck

yes it is a completly standard letter, which just shows the contempt they treat there customers with, they cant even be bothered to provide a letter that isnt just proforma response.
Ignore and stick to the 14 days.

Best of luck

Hello all!

I seem to have made some errors in my addition of the charges and found that I have missed £92 worth of charges!

What would be the best way to go about adding these to my existing claim? I am only at the initial stages of trying to get my charges back and have only sent out one letter but I am unsure how to go about getting the extra £92 that I am owed.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Geneticfreak

Just amend your schedule of charges and include that in the LBA. You can amend your claim(up or down) right up till when you file at court
