Default Gesture of Goodwill....
Last week i filed my moneyclaim on line, it was deemed served on Tues(5th june) Yesterday £325 appeared in my account as misc. fee refunds. Today i recieved a letter saying thank you for my letters etc and as a gesture of goodwill they are going to refund me £410 which includes cancellation of charges yet to be taken out of my account. What do i do, send them a letter informing them of my MCOL and accept the £325 as a partial settlement of my claim for £4350, or tell them to have it back.

Send them letter off and stick to your dates on your claim.

This has happened to me too - I wrote to Abbey requesting charge refunds of £3150 and after 2 letters saying they needed 4 weeks to investigate (8 weeks total) they refunded me £745 in misc fee refunds.

I will watch this post as I think I should press on for the full ammount (it is MY money after all)
