Default Something strange.....

Hi

I know that last month there have been bounced direct debits and maybe a few under £5 transactions authorised, but normally i would be sent a letter or two about the DD/transactions saying that there were insufficent funds in my account and that they have paid them but they will be charging me. But i havent recieved any letters saying they are going to charge me

I'm really depressed now just received my statement i have £145 worth of charges coming out on the 17th which means i cant make my mortgage payment i really dont know what to do now....

-£20 overlimit fee
-£35 for returned abbey loan direct debit
-£30 for visa payment of £1.99
-£30 for visa payment of £1.99
-£30 for visa payment of £1.90

Total £145.00

I have already worked out my finances for this month to make sure i dont go over drawn and it all adds up if i stick to my budget, which i will but now its all messed up!!

I'm very sorry, I am sure that it is distressing. However, I am still going to ask you to post this in your ongoing thread on the Abbey section.
It makes it all much easier to follow and to help.
You should contat your mortgage company and warn them to expect a reduced amount. - in fact arrange to pay then as much as you can straightaway. But do contat them.
Please will you post on your original thread.
Maybe it is time to take action against Abbey
