| Abbey closed my account whilst £248 overdrawn My account was closed whilst I was £248 overdrawn. But this money was ALL unlawful charges.00
I have my statements and I am owed just over £600, but £248 of that should be Abbey's (as I never actually paid that).
Do I just claim for the full £600 and let Abbey take off the money they owe me, or do I claim for £352? |

You claim for everything, when did they close the account, if you still had money owing on it, it is unlikely that they actually closed it, just denied you access to it. Did they give you notice? |

| Re: Abbey closed my account whilst £248 overdrawn It was a few years ago, so I don't recall whether they actually gave notice or not.
Right, off to send first letter |

| Re: Abbey closed my account whilst £248 overdrawn Oops, just rechecked the statements. The first 2 charges were in February and May in 2001 which is outside the 6 year thingy. Is it easier to write those 2 charges off? I've successfully claimed against Halifax earlier this year, but that was all within the 6 year period. |

| Re: Abbey closed my account whilst £248 overdrawn Halibut, put them into your claim, they have no argument to the Limitation Argument and in most defences dont even mention it anymore |
