| | Classic Account Customer | OMG I am NOT a happy bunny! Hi all.
I settled with Abbey mid April and they credited my account on April 18th etc. I withdrew the funds and left a balance of about £12.00 in there.
Haven't used the account since, haven't heard from Abbey....until this morning...
We are deducting £41.00 from your account on June 14th. These charges was interest etc calculated on May 1st.
Now, I paid interest charges on April 14th, no interest charges were due to come out on May 14th, but now i get interest charges for June 14th even though I have been in credit since April and I didn't get charges in may??
i spoke to a guy on the phone who was having none of it. He says the interest was for May and it WILL be taken.
This will then start me off on another set of charges as i only have 312 in the account and have no plans in using it.
What are these people on?

Also in your mail you say that you are not using the account so I do not see how you can incur any further charges. |

Hi PPMAN
It could have been that transaction(s) took place prior to 18th April 2006 when she didn't have enough money in account. So, when Abbey sends her statement in May they would highlight how much charge is to come from out her account in June. If this is not the case, Kerrie needs to investigate what the HELL is SHABBEY playing at.
