Default A Question for you all...

I was sitting in the garden having a ciggie and a cupp and I was wondering if anyone had ever submitted an estimated claim for £x and the Shabbey (or indeed any other Wunch) have come back and said "well no actually, you have only been charged £y?"

No - I've entered an estimated claim and been offered half without I suspect them even looking at my account.....

I dont have a clue what the charges should be just my last years were over 1k and I didnt want my claim to go over 5k so that was the basis of my estimate.....

In fact - I dont remember seeing anyone with this either !

AND - my claim that I have the statements for I was offered half and AFTERWARDS they asked me for my account number as they couldnt find it !

Good Question Julia !

its amazing the stuff that trolls around my head at this time of night

The thing is, based on this years charges alone I need to up my estimate for about £300, for the last 6 years, now when I have this back I will be putting in a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) for years 95 - 2000 because I think that that is where the bulk of my charges have gone (got divorced ex stopped paying maintenanace blah blah blah)

ooo - going to try past 6 years then.....

you can up your estimate for this claim when you file - as you've already done your LBA (just going by your sig)

well, why not, it needs to be done, but I will need to do some reading and take some expert advice.

Actually, before I claim I was going to send 1 more letter, giving new estimate, 10 days to reply with 100% offer "to save solicitors costs, court time etc etc"

unless of course anyone things that this is a bad idea, open to suggestions and advice
