hi all just an update and a bit of advice needed too well i sent letter off to abbey around 3 days back via recorded delivery asking for charges back and interest and also emailed dca asking them to place account on hold while i sent abbey info. I then emailed dca letter with tracking info but the next few days they sent a letter saying that I have only 7 days final warning before court action would begin I am thinking on sending them a letter adviceing them on situation but not sure what to do any ideas.

Thanks in advance

Apologies for the lack of response, I just spotted this. The answer is yes that under financial hardship the bank would pay the money back into the account where the charges have come from. Have they paid the full amount?
Is your account in credit now?
Has the DCA left the picture?

Thanks for your reply

They paid nearly full amount but did not pay one charge I owed around 700 but the charges were 350 so i think i would owe them more money dca have left for now as on hold however i have no statement from this account from them as yet
