Default fraud committed on my sons account

Hi can someone help us urgently please ,someone from London deposited £10,000 by cheque into my sons account which he didnt know about and they blocked his account asthey suspected fraud which was a good thing to do to start with ,but now he hasnt been able to withdraw any money as the fraud depart of the bank has stopped him from getting any money since last last wednesday he has gone 8 days without any cash ,they have called him into the branch everyday since and still no cash ,they have now said he will have his account closed and will not be allowed to open a new one but wont answer his question on will this affect his ability on opening an account anywhere else also his credit rating will be affected what course of action can he take this is very urgent as he doesnt know what to do he is only 19 and his wages get paid into there .

Also they wont call in the cops and said he is a high risk to the bank the fraud dept wont tell him anything and he is stuck and the investigation culd take months to sort out.
