Abbey's Bank accounts

Have just seen this must be new today.

I bank online and they are offering me the chance to pay £15 per month for my account.

IT'S offered as if it's some sort of reward. Too the choosen few......

Glad I left them.
However theyll be after me for the o/d and other account they messed up.
Got the impression last time I was in the branch that things were changing. Member of staff said on benefits, you shouldnt have took out a loan with us, your not earning. They used my benefits award form to prove income.
I wonder how long it is before they close down other accounts, those not wanted.
Though seriously, not fair to bring in charges like they have, through the back door, offers, rewards, seems a load of rubbbish to those on low income. Dont think I'll be using the lost luggage insurance their offereing.

that will be the £15 they will use to give new customers £100 for changing banks.
