abbey 52 days since request

52 days have went by since abbbey debited my account, request for six year back bank statements
and not a word from abbey.

I sent the proper form 1st time up but without reading the FAQ .I never new back then I had to sent a tenner.

they sent me a form to fill in named (authorisation request for account transaction statement)
can I still report them to the proper authority? and if so whats the link please?

and am I reading things right-can one only claim upto 15 hundred bucks in scotland?

yes you need to send £10 for the Data Protection Act request to start the clock ticking - probably best to read through all the FAQ's.

This form [authorisation request for account transaction statement] will not be under any enforceable timetable (like under Data Protection Act its 40 days) and they are saying around 8 weeks to get statements/transaction lists at the moment....

thank you karn I did send the £10 52 dAYS ago. but but six weeks before that
I sent the proper form from this site without the £10,very clever the banks ey
must read more on the scottish law, but strapped for time.anyone else back
up karns £750 being your lot quickly would be a big help.

Yep. £750 is the limit you can claim through Small Claims Court in Scotland. Summary Cause limit is £1500 but a bit more complicated. Not fair that there's such a huge difference between Scotland and England is it?
