Default pls help! requested copy statements

Hi can anybody advise me I requested my copy statements from 2003 til now and I recieved a letter on the 15th may from abbey, that said that the information was no longer held on the systems and administration fee was required of £10. and there was a form to fill out and you could request to pay by debit from my account, and that is what I asked to do and I sent my form off a couple of days later and nothing has happened, no money has been debited! and no copy statements have arrived, What should I do now?

Thanks for any advice

Hi Joanne and welcome to the forum.

Did you send them the Data Protection Act letter from the library on here? If not then you should they have to respond within 40 days.

Can I also suggest, if you haven't already, that you take a couple of days to surf this site and read all the FAQ's. The information you will gain is invaluable.

Again welcome and good luck.

Hi if there is anybody who does doubt that their money won't be returned or feels that it is all too much, I just wanted them to know that people are succeeding my sister has just got all of her money back just under £7000 and she is now putting in another claim for the rest of the money that she is owed,
I'm only at the preliminary stage of my case which trying to get my statements and abbey has till the 4th August, then its the next step!

Good luck to everyone who is fighting back!!
