Wink first time claim

i have been reading lots of threads and to be honest i'm a bit confused there are lots of talk of parachute accounts etc but one of the accounts i am trying to claim back the charges from is closed and the other is in the hands of one of shabbys debt collectors will this make any difference to my claim??????
