Had my removal of stay refused, strange..

I rang MCOL before i sent my request to remove the stay on my claim and was informed i didnt have to pay a fee, last week the request was sent back to me statting my request had been refused as i didnt attach a fee for £35. After reading on here that even if a stay had been placed on my claim i could ask for it to be transferred to my local court i rang MCOL up and was informed by the helpdesk that yes it could be transferred, i was also informed that the request to remove my stay shouldnt have been refused as a fee is NOT payable....The lady i spoke to then advised me to send it back.

Is this right?

Don't know, but the ineptitude sounds familiar!!!!!!!

re send it with a covering letter but first ring the person again and ask her for a refferance number that will show that you have been advised that you do not need to make any payments and also ask for your transfer hope this helps

I would go with what Patrick says, I think that they are so busy that they get confused
