Hello mrmarmite,

I take it you have a claim in the court system?

Has this case been stayed?

More info needed please!

Best wishes, Jeff.

Hi again,

Also, if you don't mind, how much did the court say you had to pay per month for the CCJ?

Have you done an income and expenditure sheet?

Jeff.

lol thats wat i need to know before i start anything. ccj is 50pm 3k left to pay.

not taken abbey to court yet i got till october next year before charges start comming into the limitation act.

ok, so for starters i need to update inc/exp sheet, my current 1 tad out of date,

got 5k loan on house and that being paid ontime so that ok, the ccj is on charging order,

what i'm planning on lookin at first is to re-mortgage and see if can get lower interest rate so that will kill the 7k off on house in turn will make me 170 pm odd better off. at the mo i owe 118k on house, it worth around 195, so i see if i can get 125 at same or lower repayments.

bummer is i'll be very well off in future when (god forbid) parents go on their way.

Hi,

Yes, I think there will be quite a few of us in this situation!

Anyway, good luck and keep us informed of any developments. If you require a decent spreadsheet for income and expenditure, I can e-mail you one. Just say the word.

Also, you may be able to apply for a variation order if your CCJ is unaffordable!

Best wishes, Jeff.
