Not sure if it is possible, hopefully someone can enlighten on this, but is it possible for you to request an extention from the judge, on the grounds they have made settlement offer, but will need time to get a cheque out, may be worth phoning the court and asking an usher what they suggest.
As the court need to receive the AQ on monday, do you have it ready to go to them if an extention is refused.
In theory they have said they will settle and you have written proof of this so i wouldnt think they would not send you the cheque but we all know how devious some of these organisations can be.

What have you agreed and how are they going to pay you?

Unless you have been paid, I would be inclinded to file the AQ in any case - how much is your claim for?
